FAQ
Good questions
I've never danced. Can I come?
Yes. That's who the 7 PM lesson is for. Most of the room started exactly where you are.
Do I need a partner?
No. We rotate partners during class, and people ask each other to dance all night at the social.
Which lesson should I take?
Brand new or still shaky on the basic step: 7 PM. Comfortable with the basic: 8 PM. Lots of people take both.
Salsa or bachata this week?
Lessons rotate monthly: bachata in even months, salsa in odd months. The date card at the top always shows the current style. The social plays both.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in and shoes that turn easily. Smooth soles beat grippy sneakers. Heels are optional.
Can I just come for the social?
Of course. Same $10 ticket whether you come at 7 or 9.
Where do I park?
Motte has a free lot behind the building. Turn in at the small entrance on the east side of Haven Street.
What's the age limit?
18+. Bring an ID if you plan to order drinks.
Can I get a refund?
All sales are final. If you can't make it, your ticket is good for the next upcoming Latin Pulse.
